History:
Jamia Darul Furqanwas established on August 01 1989, with an aim to educate girls up to the graduate level in Islamic studies, purely based on Quran and Hadith with an emphasize on modern education.
Alhamdulilah, the Jamia is in it's 21st year of operation, and Seventeen batches have been graduated from the date of its inception.
The total number of girls graduated are as follows:
59 Fazilat | 107 Alima | 13 Hafiz
Total No. of girls student is :258
Total No. of boys student (Hafiz) is 40, in second shift, 3 to 8 pm.
The Jamia is presently managing 17 classes with the help of 26 male and female teachers, including one Madni Alim. The Jamia's own 3 storey building is ideally located at main road Green Land colony, Saeedabad, Hyderabad, AP, India.
Aims and Objectives:
Presently Jamia, with the help of Allah swt has managed to acquire a piece of land and have constructed 3 story building to accommodate the increasing number of student, however, the building needed finishing work from inside and outside.
Transport:
Jamia has managed to buy one bus for the convenience of students and teachers who comes as far as from Mehdipatnam. Since the students registered at Jamia are from various locality one bus is not sufficient to meet the requirement, Therefore, the management has decided to purchase another bus for which funds are required.
The monthly expenses of Jamia including staff salary and other expenses cost Rs. 900/= per student. Keeping in mind Jamia's future plans of setting up of hostel and arrangements of buses, Jamia need moral and financial support from our patrons like you. It can be in the form of sponsoring a student, paying Zakat and charity.
